Since formation in 1993 IBC’s main areas of business have been Project Management, Contract Administration and Employers Agent.

 

Projects have included:

 

• Small housing projects of 1 or 2 houses

 

• Multi-house developments of up

to 40 properties

 

• Industrial development including

refurbishment

 

• New-build offices and other commercial

buildings

 

• Development involving Listed Buildings

or conservation

 

Our role always involves working closely with the developer. We often become an extension of the developers own organisation:

 

 

Our full service includes:

 

• Working with our client to prepare and

develop the project brief

 

• Selecting and briefing other consultants

and forming the design team

 

• Managing and coordinating the design

stages of the project

 

• Organising and managing the contractor

selection process

 

• Working as Employer’s Agent or Contract

Administrator through the construction

stages of the project including valuations

of the works

 

• Where required, acting as Principal

Designer under CDM Regulations
