IBC provide a full scope of Architectural Services from the initial and inception stages of a project through design, construction detailing and including all of the site related stages.
Over the years that IBC has been in practice we have undertaken a growing number of projects for a wide variety of clients. These clients include:
- Housing Developers building multiple house projects or apartments where IBC act as Architects offering a full range of services or, in many instances, a partial service which may be the outline design, more detailed design and Construction Services or Contract Administration Services for the construction stages of the project.
- Individuals or organisations wishing to design and construct a single building – this includes individuals wishing to design their own home; owner occupiers of industrial or commercial buildings wishing to develop or extend; pubs and small hotels.
- Community facilities, for example: churches, church extensions, school projects, village halls or other small scale buildings.
- Financial Institutions for whom IBC provide a Monitoring Service acting on behalf on a Financial Institution where a loan has been made to fund a construction project.
- Extensions and alterations to individual homes – IBC provide a comprehensive service tailored to and bespoke to the needs of the individual client to provide outline design, detailed design, Local Authority approvals, contractor selection and administration and inspection services during the construction phases of the project.
For each and everyone of these clients, the service that IBC provide is tailored to the individual needs of the client. The IBC service is by default a bespoke service.
The RIBA have developed a standard Plan of Work which is a straightforward and comprehensive list of services that should be followed through any construction project. IBC follows the RIBA Plan of Work in the structure of its services.
